As a front lever for your Rival 1 set-up, or paired for single speed adventures, the new Rival brake lever features the same ErgoFit ergonomic design introduced on SRAM RED®but delivered in a sleek, forged aluminum offer. SRAM Reach Adjust feature brings near universal fit for riders.Brake lever fit and feel is a personal thing. Riders have individual positioning preferences, as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. Reach Adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for everyone.

SRAM Hydraulic Road Disc Brakes are now available to fit flat mount frames and forks. No matter which bike you choose, SRAM has a brake with unrivaled modulation and control to fit it. This sleek new caliper works with our existing 2015 HRD lever to deliver the same braking performance as our popular post mount calipers.

SRAM flat mount calipers use the new flat mount interface found on some new 2016 frames and forks for complete compatibility.

Compatible with 160mm and 140mm rotors.

For front brakes the same caliper adaptor is used for 160mm and 140mm rotor applications. Just rotate the included adaptor 180 degrees to switch between the two sizes.
Rear brakes are natively 140mm rotor compatible and can be adapted to 160mm rotors with an included caliper spacer.
SRAM recommends 160mm rotors front and rear for ideal braking power, modulation and heat dissipation.
Bleed procedure and required bleed hardware is unchanged compared to SRAM’s post mount calipers.

One caliper design is used for both front and rear applications.
