This is the replacement seal kit for the single acting CO2 pump that we sell here.

If you are frequently burning through seals it's usually an indication that you are:

  1. Not using a clean and dry air supply.
TIPS: make sure your air is well filtered. We recommend 2 or three stage filter that includes 1micron filtration for the last filter.  Also by cooling the air down you will reduce how much moisture is in the air.  Having a long and large diameter air line between the air compressor and CO2 pump will allow the temperature of the air to drop and a lot of the moisture to separate from the air.   At the end of the air line(close to the CO2 pump) use a coalescing filter (preferably with auto dump) so moisture is removed from the air line.  If you can afford the extra cost the best scenario is to use a refrigerated air dryer.
  2. Cycling the pump at too high RPM.
TIPS: keep your max RPM at 100RPM or below.  This will greatly extend the life of your seals.
  3. Wrong Lubrican
TIPS: We recommend using MX8 PTFE Grease from Inox.  This particular grade is great, long lasting and very durable.  Please also be aware if your air supply is poor quality and contains oil and water this oil and water will "wash out" the high quality lubricant from the seals thus negating the benefits of high quality lubricant.  It really comes back to point 1 which is use clean dry air supply.
